Amber is a trauma-focused psychotherapist. Until recently she was the Clinical Director at Khiron Clinics, a leading residential trauma service. Her primary training is in Gestalt psychotherapy, which informs a relational, present-focused approach grounded in somatic awareness.

She works integratively, drawing on Internal Family Systems (IFS), Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), polyvagal-informed practice and somatic approaches. Amber specialises in complex trauma, with extensive experience supporting clients with C-PTSD, DID, early attachment and developmental trauma.
Originally from Malta, Amber has worked across a wide range of trauma settings, including victim support, domestic violence, addiction, eating disorders, and sexual abuse services. She previously held a senior role at Victim Support Malta, where she helped establish one of the country’s first suicide-prevention therapeutic teams. She has also lectured in criminology at the University of Malta.
Her work is trauma-informed, collaborative, and tailored to the individual, with a focus on safety, regulation, and meaningful change.
