Professional Background & Qualifications

Dr Masud trained in medicine at the University of Nottingham (MBBS, BMedSci). He is a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and holds a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Adult Psychiatry, with an endorsement in Addiction Psychiatry following specialist training in Nottingham.

He is an Approved Clinician and is also approved under Section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act.

Healthcare Leadership & Experience

Dr Masud has worked on inpatient wards and in outpatient clinics, in both the NHS and the private sector.

He has held senior leadership positions, overseeing the strategic direction of service delivery and the management of complex mental health presentations.

As well as diagnosing and treating ADHD, he offers home-based transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS), a form of neuromodulation, for ADHD and treatment-resistant depression.

Approach to Care

Dr Masud shapes each treatment plan around the person’s own needs and circumstances.

Because his training covers addiction, ADHD and general psychiatry, he can look at conditions that often occur together, such as ADHD and substance misuse, as part of one assessment.
