专业经历
I have worked in nursing for almost 20 years, both in inpatient and community settings, working primarily in crisis management, admission avoidance, and facilitation of safe discharge. I have extensive experience in MDT working, decision-making, and problem-solving.
I strongly believe in the benefits of integrated working to improve health outcomes and have been in a position to facilitate this through the MDT approach by identifying gaps in service delivery. I have been involved in service transformation and the development of service pathways within community and social care. I have delivered training to a wide range of professionals on the subjects of depression, frailty and dementia, and have presented at various forums and away days.
I am passionate about the delivery of high-quality, holistic, and inclusive health care to clients and supporting their caregivers. I have worked as a family liaison officer, which has involved supporting families through after-action reviews. I am a confident report writer and am used to presenting at a high level. I worked as a research coordinator for a clinical trial, allowing me to incorporate the highest up-to-date standard of evidence-based practice. I am assured in my ability to lead and to empower others to gain knowledge, understanding, and confidence to fulfil their potential.
