Paul Hornsey

Paul Hornsey is Harbor’s Clinical Operations Director, having worked in healthcare for more than two decades.

He trained as a general nurse and has since set up and grown complex clinical services, including bespoke addiction treatment clinics and specialist mental health programmes run with pharmaceutical companies and NHS partners.

Professional Background & Qualifications

Paul’s professional background is in nursing and senior healthcare leadership.

His career spans more than 22 years of senior leadership experience across the NHS, Ministry of Defence and private healthcare sectors, with experience in clinical operations, service development and organisational growth.

Healthcare Leadership & Experience

Before joining our team, Paul led clinical operations across several sites, established governance frameworks, and built multidisciplinary teams. He has also worked on service transformation, market development, and digital and hybrid models of care. 

Now, Paul oversees how clinical services are planned and delivered as the clinic grows.

Approach to Care

As a nurse by training, Paul approaches operations with the patient’s experience in mind.

His aim is for care at Harbor to be consistent, so that every client gets the same standard, whichever member of the team they see.

He works closely with the clinical team to maintain those standards, bringing his operational leadership experience to the ongoing development and delivery of services.
